As part of our on going series of blogs from the team here at Verve, we are going to talk about responsive web design.
The blog is also accompanied by a free infographic for you to view, print or share.
Virtually every company has a website nowadays, some great, some not so great, but all should be responsive.
But what is responsive web design and why is it so important?
Responsive design is a website that has been specifically designed and built to enhance the experience for Mobile and Tablet users by rearranging the design, navigation, menus and call to action messages.
25% of Internet users only ever use their mobile device to access the web, that’s a massive percentage of your potential leads or sales!
If your website doesn’t respond to your visitors devices they will struggle to understand your services or view your products; thus resulting in them becoming frustrated and going back to the search engines to find a company that has bothered to cater for their needs.
Don’t ignore your mobile audience
In 2009 there were 800 million mobile Internet users, this number has now increased to a whopping 1,900,000,000 and is growing daily!
46% of mobile users admit having problems viewing non-responsive websites on their devices and 69% of tablet users have shopped online in the past month.
