Last week, Microsoft announced that Internet Explorer will very soon be offering automatic updates to their web browser. We are very pleased as this will in turn drastically improve security and result in added protection against malicious software for its users.
The automatic updates has been one of the best features of Google's web browser, Chrome, also adopted by Mozilla Firefox, and now, with Internet Explorer. Of course, providing users have enabled automatic updates this will always keep Internet Explorer up to date too! We certainly recommend this.
Twenty years ago, on August 6, 1991 – the World Wide Web was born, when Professor Sir Tim Berners-Lee launched his placeholder page. Don’t mistake the world wide web and the internet as the same thing; because it’s the world wide web’s 20th birthday and not the Internet’s, which according to some sources has been around since 1974. Most people assume the internet and the world wide web are one and the same. Just imagine a world without the web, how would you shop, pay bills, do your banking, order your pizza and even be looking at really good sites like ours.
